ABOUT THE ARTIST
Inés Szamrey was born in Córdoba, Argentina, in 1971. She received a BA in Fine Arts in 1994 from Figueroa Alcorta School of Fine Arts. Her 22 years of professional experience include work as an artist, a designer, and an art teacher in Argentina, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
She has won awards and commissions in England for excellence, professionalism, and innovation in public and private Art Education projects. Cultural mediator in museums and contemporary art spaces in London, she also worked as a Co-executive director of “Art Hoppers,” an independent organization based in London, UK.
Her paintings are in private collections in Argentina, UK, US, Spain, Canada, Italy, Denmark, Uruguay, México, and Turkey.
